As well as a teacher, I am also a devotee and disciple. Each time that I transmit some of what I have received I am doing service to all of my teachers and receiving their blessing transmission through this sacred exchange. Many teachers along the way have enriched me but there are three main living currents that bring forth my teaching and expression.

The first is my living connection with my Spiritual Master HWL Poonja, "Papaji".

Papaji was a disciple of the great Indian sage Sri Ramana Maharshi. His life pointed to Pure and Free Consciousness. Papaji always taught and transmitted his awakening to any and all that would hear him.

Although Papaji passed in 1997, His being lives in me and many others, through his grace. His message is simple: No matter who you take yourself to be, your eternal nature is Freedom itself. Look and see this for yourself, recognize yourself as the center and source of all you perceive, forever untouched. As that which is silent awareness, there are no differences: we are one Ocean.

Through our living connection I awoke to my nature as infinite consciousness and there developed a trust and confidence as that. I am forever indebted to Papaji and my love for him is my love for my own Self.

This is the first Living Current that is the basis of my life and teaching.

The second living current that nurtured and matured this Trust is with the teachers associated with Waking Down in Mutuality. Waking Down in Mutuality is a western mystery school founded by Saniel Bonder, which emphasizes the incarnation of awakened Consciousness back into the life of limits and relationship. It cherishes human, down to earth qualities in teachers.

After working extensively with Ted Strauss and the other teachers in the community, I relaxed into a transformation of life itself in which the ego, the body and relationships are experienced as inseparable from the infinite nature of being. This continued to deepen trust in Being, now as both trust in the unmanifest Ocean and trust in the waves' motion. This trust is not a static form of resignation but rather a dynamic form of heart felt engagement in and as Life.

The third living current is my relationship to the Buddhist Tradition. While I am by no stretch a master of Buddhism, I have been engaged in Buddhist meditation, mantra and devotional practices for the past 23 years. Using the essence of my own experience, the richness of this tradition is something that affects all that I do with people. Practicing Meditation, understanding emptiness and the cultivation of compassion is something that is useful for anyone in spiritual life.

I give public Satsangs, sittings and weekend intensives as well as working with students in ongoing one on one sessions in person or by phone.

In words and silence there is a transmission of trust in the infinite ground of life as well as in the unfolding of our own life as a mysterious unique incarnation.

In your private session the various traditions and teachings to which I've been exposed enhance our way of being together. What we do together is not about a particular practice or tradition; it's about you and your own deepening trust in Being. Some students work with me in my capacity as a teacher of the Waking Down in Mutuality process, others work with me to further their progress and understanding in their own traditions or as free individuals. In all cases I am available to serve your own self-discovery and uncover your deeper connection to Life.
