Most of what I do privately is done by Zoom videoconferencing, but if
you're in the Portland area we can do these sessions in person. The content
of all sessions are held in strict confidence.
Sessions are typically an hour long, though some folks arrange for
90-minute sessions.
Remember that the Spiritual counselling that we do together is not
psychotherapy and should not take the place of working with a therapist or
Health Practitioner. This is a different kind of work.
I have worked with Krishna Gauci in sittings, weekend and day long
retreats, and on conference calls with other participants. Krishna is a
profoundly realized teacher, with vast presence and deep wisdom. He has a
gift for meeting students exactly where they need to be met and sometimes
gently, sometimes boldly imparting this wisdom along with his palpable
transmission. Krishna is also a virtual encyclopedia of Eastern religions
and traditions, not only having read about them, but having studied them,
practiced them and contemplated them for decades. His perspective is unique,
wide and well considered. And, lastly, Krishna is a regular guy from New
York. He’s utterly human, totally accessible, and a kind, good man. I am
uber-grateful for the time I’ve spent with him, and look forward to future
training, sharing, and evolving with Krishna.

To say that Krishna and his workshop were amazing is really an
understatement. There are no words for how much this time with him meant to
me. His authenticity, presence, directness in his words and intention, his
unbelievable ability to green light and give insights, his powerful clarity
and teaching style, his love and Devotion to humanity, all created such a
sacred, vast, transformative space for the whole group to be pulled in and
transformed. The Divine worked through him in such a unique way, drawing the
Divinity out of us all to experience an intense field of Being. I felt as if
every word spoken was a treasure that I will hold deep in my heart forever.
And the ease and simplicity of the consciousness exercises gave me, a new
WDM practitioner, amazing glimpses into awareness and experiences of the
"Waking" aspect that I have never had before. It was truly a holistic
weekend, filling every part of me. "

The weekend with Krishna was a unique Waking Down experience. His special
blend of penetrating intellectual insight combined with his mystical
background in many traditions enabled him to explain the interconnection
between "Waking", "Mutuality", and "Individuality" in a way that deepened
both the understanding and the experience of the "self" and its
interconnection to others. The usual "waking down" sharing time was done in
a way that allowed more spontaneous interaction which enabled people to
reflect what others had just said with more immediacy than is usual. The
exercises he did to enhance awareness were the most unique part of the event
and reminded me of the pointing out instructions found in some Buddhist
traditions. We had three people who were new to the work and they all wanted
to come back. In fact they were asking "how do we join."
-Carl Klemaier
"Krishna brings a truly transformational experience for everyone with his
straightforward explanation of Waking Down, tailored to each individual. I
experienced a further longed for clarification of my process and a greater
focus and understanding of the Waking, the Down, and the Mutuality. The
exercises to increase awareness were amazing and very effective. Krishna's
powerful transmission activated a greater awareness than I have ever felt.
The next day after the workshop during my morning practice I felt the
boundaries of my sense of self expand. I became awareness and there was a
deeper clarification of my awakening. I am feeling such bliss about watching
my process unfold and I have a renewed trust in my life in Waking Down."

This weekend was unlike any Waking Down event I've attended. Krishna
Gauci taught the Waking Down Dharma but also shared from his own further
explorations. The teaching flowed in such a beautiful, enlivening way that
by the end everyone felt as if they'd been co-creators of a timeless moment
of profound grace. Revelations came through the teachings, such as Krishna's
explanation of why gazing is such a profound practice, as well as through
powerful practices. I have never been to such an impactful Waking Down
event. I most highly recommend it.

Thank you - I really enjoyed the weekend and I got a lot out of it. It
was by far the most comprehensive and useful introduction to Waking Down
that I've attended so far. I'm new to Waking Down and frankly I've been on
the fence about whether WD is a good fit for me. I'm still on the fence, but
for the first time, I can see how WD could fit into my particular spiritual
path. In particular, the way you talked about the Down part of Waking Down
as being about becoming embodied radically changed my attitude about WD. I
also appreciated the structure and container of the retreat - the content,
the exercises, the overall experience was incredibly well put together.

Thank you, Krishna and Vivian, for making the trip to Atlanta. The
presence of your transmission was palpable, l and your useful analogies
helped make abstract concepts easy to grasp. I really enjoyed the welcoming
energy of the group and felt really at home. I look forward to meeting the
two of you again.
Best Wishes,
Eduardo
Hi Krishna,
My experience with your radiant awareness workshop was so sweet. I became
aware of a feeling of expanded love - vibrating and becoming seemingly
limitless. It is still resonating, despite the fact that this morning at 5
a.m. we had two smoke alarms start screeching and a mechanical voice saying,
"fire. fire." False alarm but unnerving. So I sit here now with a huge
amount of trusting in my wholeness that feels a combination of great
fullness and great emptiness.
You can use my name and my words to help you get your work to reach
others. It has been my great privilege to have been a part of it.
Love and gratitude,
Martha
Although I’ve been involved with Waking Down off and on for nearly a
decade, the recent addition of Krishna Gauci to my “tag team” of spiritual
teachers played an instrumental role in finally catalyzing my Second Birth
last year. Hence, as both a devoted Krishna admirer and a coordinator for
Chicago Waking Down events, I was understandably elated when Krishna agreed
to hold a weekend workshop in my neck of the woods. As it became obvious by
the end of the first full day of Krishna’s masterful guidance and energizing
transmission, many other participants were equally grateful to find
themselves in his benign presence. His consummate skill in navigating the
peaks and valleys of spiritual self-exploration allowed us all to feel held
and nurtured even in the face of some very deeply expressed wounds. For
every growing or established Waking Down community, or any place interested
in hosting an advanced spiritual teacher who is also well versed in the
esoteric traditions, I highly recommend Krishna and his wise and
compassionate counsel.

I feel fortunate that my first introduction to Waking Down in Mutuality
was a sitting with Krishna Gauci. Krishna is a skillful guide to the paradox
at the heart of the Waking Down dharma, his wisdom sourced from sustained
practice in Advaita Vedanta and Vajrayana in living dialogue with other
forms of the non-dual perennial philosophy.
Despite his intellectual brilliance, Krishna's teachings embrace a
trans-rational unconditional acceptance shared with grounded-ness and humor.
By making our mutual vulnerability an object of compassion, he models
heart-open clarity in a profound yet non-linear way
